This conference will focus on the latest research and innovations in the field of trypanosomiasis and leishmaniasis, two major parasitic diseases with an impact on global health. Topics include the biology and epidemiology of Trypanosoma and Leishmania species, the vectors that transmit them and their complex life cycles, as well as molecular and genetic studies, including genomic technologies and drug discovery. Researchers at all carrier levels will share knowledge and foster collaborations to advance these parasites as model organisms as well as disease prevention, control and eradication.
