Profile of Sanjay Aiyagari
Sanjay Aiyagari has spent two decades at leading companies in the networking, virtualization, and cloud computing spaces. Prior to Siaras, he spent six years at VMware, advising the world’s largest telcos in virtualizing their critical real-time network functions. Earlier he co-created VMware's Cisco alliance, bringing to market several data center innovations such as the Nexus 1000V, UCS, and VCE vBlock and evangelizing the software-defined datacenter.
Prior to VMware, Aiyagari led key engineering projects in Cisco's access routing, application delivery, and network management products. He was one of the earliest key contributors to the OASIS AMQP specification, which is widely used in cloud management systems today.
Aiyagari has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
