Dr Mattie Pawlowic

The Pawlowic lab studies Cryptosporidium parasites at the University of Dundee in Dundee, Scotland. We are located at the Wellcome Centre for Anti-Infectives Research and in the Division of Biological Chemistry and Drug Discovery. Our division is home to 3 other parasitology labs (Ferguson, Horn, Field, Lee), the Drug Discovery Unit, and drug discovery related research groups (Mode of Action group, medicinal chemists, and PK/PD scientists). Our building houses most of the School of Life Sciences, which includes over 900 scientists in over 80 biological science laboratories. WCAIR also supports a bespoke training program from drug discovery scientists around the world, and has a growing public engagement program rich with arts, theatre, and history.
