Barry Scott

Barry has over 25 years of UNIX, Windows and Linux experience, and worked in various Infrastructure Ops and Architecture roles before crossing over to the vendor side about 13 years ago. Since then, much of his time has been spent helping organisations manage their Identity Management and Auditing challenges, focusing on security, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.Barry has been at Centrify since the EMEA operation started in 2005. Centrify initially provided what’s become called “AD bridging” software, integrating UNIX and Linux systems into Microsoft Active Directory (AD). This has extended to full Privileged Identity Management, Access Control and Audit across UNIX, Linux and Windows, and Cloud-based solutions providing Identity-as-a-Service (cloud SSO, provisioning etc.) and MDM/MAM.
