Uwe Schrader-Hausmann

An electrical engineer by trade, Uwe Schrader-Hausmann serves as chief technical officer for EMEA and APAC regions for Active Power overseeing the company’s technical innovation efforts in the areas of research and development, engineering, and technical service and support functions.A holder of one U.S. patent and two international patents, Schrader-Hausmann has more than 30 years of experience in the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) market. He most recently served as vice president, Technical Services, for Active Power. Prior to this, Schrader-Hausmann was technical director for the company’s EMEA region. Prior to joining Active Power, Schrader-Hausmann worked in various positions at Piller Power Systems GmbH including chief technology officer and quality manager.Schrader-Hausmann earned his Diplom-Ingenieur (German equivalent of a master’s of Science) from The University of Applied Science in Hannover, Germany.
