Ernst Haunschmid

Ernst Haunschmid is IT director of the Vienna Scientific Cluster (VSC) and head of the HPC group at Technical University of Vienna. VSC is a collaborative project between eight Austrian universities which covers many disciplines and fields of study and which provides HPC resources and services to their researchers.Ernst received a PhD in Technical Mathematics from TU Wien. His main filed of interest are power and cost efficient computing and innovative cooling systems like submersion cooling.
