Lars Göebel

Lars Göbel, Head of Sales and IT Services at DARZ, has been professionally involved in the area of IT services and cloud computing for more than a decade. Responsible for the construction and sales of the modular product portfolio of DARZ, his focus is on quality and safety in accordance with the company strategy.The IT business engineer began his career working for an IT service provider in the banking sector, before he established, developed and marked the first VMware-based public cloud infrastructure in Germany, as an IT project manager & consultant.With this specific project expertise he moved to VMware, where he initially worked as a senior consultant for two years. In this position he advised banks, insurance companies and service providers in the “DACH region” (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). In 2014 he assumed his current position at DARZ. Mr. Göebel incorporated the experience and knowledge gained in 10 years of dealing with the cloud into the setup of the new company. This involved in particular his vision of an IT full-service provider with a modular product portfolio and the many possibilities that such a concept offers for the market. In addition to the quality and safety provided to customers by complete solutions from a single source, he is fascinated by the design of a real hybrid cloud solution through the fusion of co-location, private cloud and public cloud elements – a solution that has been in demand on the market for a long time.
