Qualified: Ghent University, Belgium. Institution/Practice: Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Large Animal Internal Medicine, Salisburylaan 133, B-9820 Merelbeke, Belgium. Career: Graduated in 1992 from Ghent University and immediately started working in the Department of Large Animal Internal Medicine. PhD in 2001 on trial pacing and experimental atrial fibrillation in equines. Diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine since 2004. Associate Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging since 2011. Board member of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine since 2006. Professor in large animal internal medicine at Ghent University, Belgium since 2004.
