Profile of Miss Ceri Sherlock
Qualified: Royal Veterinary College, The University of London (2004). Institution/Practice: The University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, Sutton Bonington Campus, Leicestershire LE12 5RD, UK. Career: Following graduation in 2004, Ceri completed a rotating equine internship at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic in Kent and remained there for a further year as a junior hospital clinician. She then travelled to the USA in 2006 where she embarked on a 3 year large animal surgical residency combined with a Master's in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Georgia. She stayed with the University of Georgia for a further 18 months as a Clinical Instructor in Large Animal Surgery before joining the University of Nottingham as a Lecturer in Equine Surgery in February 2011. Interests: Ceri has broad research interests; equine soft tissue surgery (especially colic) and equine diagnostic imaging (epsecially magnetic resonance imaging) are 2 of her strongest research interests.
