Qualified: University College Dublin (UCD). Institution/Practice: Troytown Equine Hospital, Kildare, Ireland. Career: I have worked in various types of private veterinary practice since I graduated in 1983. Thanks to the flexibility of a veterinary degree, I have worked in Ireland, UK, France, Japan, USA, Australia and New Zealand. I have obtained 2 Royal College certificates - one in Equine Stud Medicine and another in Equine Orthopaedics. I also became a member of the Equine Surgical Chapter of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists by examination. I am currently an equity partner in Troytown Equine Hospital on the The Curragh in Co. Kildare. Interests: My main areas of professional interest are equine reproduction, orthopaedic surgery and imaging.
