Dr. Joaquin Prada is an epidemiological and infectious disease mathematical modeller in the Neglected Tropical Diseases modelling consortium at the University of Warwick. His overarching research focus is in developing mathematical models of infection dynamics to provide insights across diseases. He has worked across different levels of biological data, from the dynamics of immune response to helminth infection in sheep to country-level dynamics and surveillance of measles in sub-Saharan African countries. His current focuses in the modelling consortium are schistosomiasis diagnostics and lymphatic filariasis spatial dynamics.
