Dr Simon Boucher

Dr. Simon Boucher is CEO of the Irish Management Institute. In previous roles at IMI, Simon has been Chief Operating Officer, Registrar and Head of Graduate Studies.

Simon has worked internationally as a management consultant with Accenture and for the European Commission in Brussels, and is a regular commentator on American political events for TV3. In June 2011 Simon was appointed by the Government to the Judicial Appointments Approval Board.

He is a highly experienced leadership development expert and has directed a wide range of executive leadership programmes in Ireland and overseas including IMI’s Diploma in Leadership, the High Impact Leadership Programme and the Master of Business. Simon is an experienced executive coach, and is an accredited practitioner in a wide range of psychometric profiling tools.

He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and UCC/IMI and completed his Masters and PhD at Florence’s European University Institute, where his doctoral research examined the leadership styles and effectiveness of political leaders.
