Career: Spent first 3 years in first opinion equine practice in Essex. Then went to RVC to undertake a residency in equine medicine. Then completed a PhD at RVC in equine endotoxaemia. Became a lecturer in equine medicine at RVC in January 2005. Research interests focus on equine pasture-associated laminitis and insulin resistance. Interests: Endocrinology; cardiology; general equine medicine.
