Profile of Ms Anna Johnson
Qualifications: MCSP.SRP GradDipPhys Cat ‘A’ ACPAT.
Qualified: University of Birmingham. Institution/Practice: Anna Johnson & Associates, Chartered Physiotherapists.
Career: Anna qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Birmingham University in 1993, following her NHS placements, she specialised in human sports injuries at Mosely RFC, Warwickshire County Cricket Team, Bisham Abbey and The Cavendish Clinic, Harley Street. She gained ACPAT ‘A’ status in 1997 and set up her own practice in Buckinghamshire where she specialises in equine musculoskeletal and performance problems. From 1998 to 2006 Anna was the official physiotherapist to the British Equestrian Team attending all World Europeans and Olympics during that period. Anna co-ordinated and headed up a team of 14 Chartered Veterinary Physiotherapists as part of the host nation’s veterinary service for the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Anna is a clinical educator for both the Veterinary Physiotherapist MSc courses and a member of the ACPAT committee. She has lectured at BEVA, ACPAT and the Physiotherapy Congress among many others.
