Profile of Mrs Jo Paul

Qualifications: MCSP CSP Accredited Clinical Educator BHSAI.
Qualified: Aberdeen (now RGU). Institution/Practice: Woollands Equine Re-habilitation Centre.
Career: Jo joined ACPAT in 1988 and has been a clinical educator since 1997. She is primarily a clinician who works with a wide range of equines from elite athletes to hairy ponies. She has developed an ever-evolving, structured system for equine physiotherapy assessment and treatment ‘Joined up Re-hab’. Her work has contributed to physiotherapy aspects of protocols used on World Horse Welfare UK farms. Jo has been a clinical educator on all 3 of the UK Veterinary Physiotherapy MSc programmes and delivers post graduate courses for Chartered Physiotherapists in the UK and abroad.
Interests: Evidence informed clinical practice to optimise equine performance. Involvement in the multidisciplinary approach to equine re-habilitation. Clinical education and mentoring for physiotherapists.
