Profile of Mrs Carolyne Crowe

Qualifications: BVetMed(Hons) BSc MRCVS Diploma Personal Performance Coaching, Diploma Wellbeing and Stress Management.
Qualified: The Royal Veterinary College; Wye Agricultural College; The Coaching Academy; CPCAB Accredited training Prolific Health. Institution/Practice: Carolyne Crowe Coaching, and currently studying for MSc in Workplace Health and Wellbeing with Nottingham University Medical School.
Career: Carolyne has worked in equine practice as an ambulatory and stud vet in the UK and NZ for 11 years. During her time in practice she recognised it wasn’t only the clinical aspects of the job that are the most challenging but more often than not everything else life throws at us. She was inspired to train as a personal performance coach to help other vets and veterinary professionals get the most out of their life and career. She went on to do a further diploma in Wellbeing and Stress management and is currently doing a Masters degree in Workplace Health and Wellbeing at Nottingham University. She is an accredited trainer of DISC behavioural profiling and an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool. She created Carolyne Crowe Coaching and provide individual and group training on subjects such as time management, personal effectiveness, assertiveness, leadership and management, confidence building, stress management, conflict resolution, working in a veterinary practice whilst pregnant, and how to return to work from maternity leave with confidence. Interests: Working alongside veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses and veterinary teams helping them overcome the personal and professional challenges they face on a daily basis. Carolyne is particularly interested in ways in which individuals can become more effective, more efficient and get the most out of their lives and careers. She is passionate about addressing stress in the profession and developing ways to improve wellbeing both on an individual level as well as a practice level, creating more proactive, engaged, productive and harmonious teams and enabling each member of the team to effectively cope with the pressures they work under.
