Dr Jane Boswell

Qualifications: MA Vet MB CertVA CertES(Orth) DECVS MRCVS.
Qualified: University of Cambridge. Institution/Practice: Liphook Equine Hospital.
Career: Jane qualified from the University of Cambridge in 1993 and then worked for 2 years in mixed practice in the South of England. She subsequently completed a Junior Clinical Training Scholarship in Equine Surgery (internship) and Senior Clinical Training Scholarship (residency) in Equine Surgery at the Sefton Equine Hospital, Royal Veterinary College. During this time she achieved the RCVS Certificates in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Equine Surgery (Orthopaedics). In 2000, she became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and is now an ECVS and RCVS Recognised Specialist in Equine Surgery. Since 2000 she has been one of the surgical team at the Liphook Equine Hospital, Hampshire, UK and became a partner there in 2006. She is a former examiner and chief examiner of the RCVS Equine Surgery Certificate exams and of the ECVS Diploma in Equine Surgery.
