Profile of Mr Simon Tappin

Qualified: University of Cambridge. Institution/Practice: Dick White Referrals.
Career: Simon graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2002 and after 2 years in small animal practice undertook a residency at the University of Bristol in Small Animal Medicine and Intensive Care. He gained the European Diploma in Small Animal Medicine. He is currently working as a consultant in internal medicine at Dick White Referrals where he sees cases in all areas of internal medicine. He is an Honorary Associate Professor of Small Animal Medicine at the University of Nottingham, editor of BSAVA’s companion magazine and has published over 50 articles on a variety of subjects.
Interests: Tick and other vector borne diseases both endemic and exotic to the UK; interventional radiology.
