Mr Neal Ashton

Qualifications: BVetMed CertEP CertES (soft tissue) MRCVS.
Qualified: The Royal Veterinary College. Institution/Practice: Oakham Veterinary Hospital.
Career: Neal began in mixed practice in Newcastle in 1991, then moved to equine practice with progressively more surgery in Sussex and Kent. He joined the Oakham practice as surgeon in 1997, became a partner in 2003 and became an associate of Nottingham Vet School in 2005. Neal is now a senior partner, and surgeon, and resident in equine surgery at Oakham Veterinary Hospital, the equine clinical teaching hospital for Nottingham University Vet School. Interests: General equine surgery and equine sports medicine (maintenance of the elite equine athlete).
