Prof Christoph Lischer

Qualifications: DMV PhD DiplECVS CertIVAS.
Qualified: University of Zurich. Institution/Practice: Free University of Berlin, Germany.
Career: Christoph stayed after graduation (1989) working up to Associate Professorship for Large Animal Surgery (2005) at the University of Zürich, Switzerland. He then moved to Scotland to become a Full Professor for Equine Surgery at the Weipers Centre Equine Hospital University of Glasgow. Since 2009 he has been Head of the Equine Clinic of the Free University of Berlin, Germany. Interests: His special interests are in orthopaedics and diagnostic imaging. As a surgeon he specialises in fracture repair, intraoperative imaging and minimal invasive surgery.
