Dr Frerik Ter Braake

Qualifications: DiplECVS Specialist Equine Surgery RNVA Cert EP EKPD.
Qualified: Ghent University, Belgium. Institution/Practice: Dierenkliniek Emmeloord, The Netherlands.
Career: Frerik qualified from Ghent University in 1990. After a year in general practice he was appointed as clinician at the Internal Medicine Department of the Utrecht University for a period of 2 years. Following this he was trained in Equine Orthopedics and Surgery at the Equine Clinical Unit of the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket. In 1994 he returned to the Netherlands to work at the Equine Department of the Emmeloord Veterinary Clinic, where he became partner in 1998. He is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons and a RNVA recognised Specialist in Equine Surgery. Further he holds a RCVS Certificate in Equine Practice.
Interests: Besides a broad interest in Equine Orthopedics and all aspects of equine surgery, he has a special interest in minimal invasive surgery such as arthroscopy and laparoscopy.
