Alan Beresford

Alan is the Managing Director of EcoCooling Limited, designing and distributing modular evaporative coolers throughout Europe. Since the start of EcoCooling in 2002, Alan has specialised exclusively in evaporative cooling and EcoCooling has become the largest installer of evaporative coolers in the UK. Alan is acknowledged as developing new and novel applications for evaporative cooling together with creating the supporting design and performance tools for use by engineers and installers. He is also credited with developing evaporative cooler control systems to meet the most exacting standards of legionella control and data centre/IT environments. EcoCooling’s Computer Room Evaporative Cooler is now used in over 150 installations within the UK, including the energy efficiency award winning Aberdeen University, 4D and M247 data centres.
