Peter Hopton

Peter Hopton is a green tech entrepreneur, he provides innovative solutions to help improve energy efficiency in IT and solve the real environmental problems within the industry. He has spoken at national and international conferences and is part of the Green IT and DCSG committees at the BCS (British Computer Society), often speaking on their behalf on the subject of green IT. For his work, he’s been made a Freeman of the City of Sheffield (Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire). CVO and Founder of Iceotope, Peter invented the original Iceotope server cooling technology, Peter has 6 patents within the field of green IT and has secured millions of pounds of investment, including strategic backing from Schneider electric.
