Qualified: University of Bern, Switzerland (1998) Institution/ Practice: Consultant for Equine Orthopaedics, Clifford George Partnership, Lady Dane Veterinary Centre, Graveney Road, Faversham, Kent ME13 8UR, UK. Career: Performed a Large Animal Internship at the University of Minnesota, USA followed by a Large Animal Surgery Residency at Cornell University in New York. Became a Diplomate of the American and European College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2004. Following his residency he worked as an equine surgeon in private practice in up-state New York and Switzerland before accepting the position as Head of the Orthopaedic Department at Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic in Kent in 2005. In 2009 he was appointed Head of the Equine Hospital and University Equine Surgeon and at The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital of Cambridge University. Since 2011 Emmanuel has been working as a Consultant for Equine Orthopaedics for private equine practices/clinics in the south-east of England. He is also working for VetPD Veterinary Professional Development, a company which runs CPD courses across Europe. Diplomate of the European and American College of Veterinary Surgeons. RCVS Specialist in Equine Orthopaedic Surgery. Interests: Equine lameness and poor performance diagnostics and therapy; sacroiliac disease; back problems; musculoskeletal injection techniques.
Rachel Flynn Qualified: Graduated in law at Durham University in 1991 and completed the Law Society's Finals course at the College of Law in York. Institution/Practice: Partner with Taylor Vinters LLP, based in Cambridge and London.
Career: Joined Taylor Vinters on qualification in 1994 and became a Partner in 2005. She combines a legal specialism of employment law with a sector focus on the horseracing and equine world, leading a team that acts for breeders, trainers, bloodstock agents, stud management companies, jockeys and owners. Among these clients are the National Trainers Federation, the Federation of Bloodstock Agents, Thoroughbred Breeder's Association, Jockey Club Estates and Weatherbys.
Interests: Rachel has ridden winners on the flat and still rides out in Newmarket where she lives.
