Dr Kevin Corley

Qualified: Edinburgh. Institution/Practice: Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital, The Curragh, Co Kildare, Ireland. Career: Kevin works as a specialist at Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital, a large horse hospital in the main breeding and racing area of Ireland. He is also a director of Veterinary Advances Ltd, a company providing smartphone and tablet apps and veterinary education. Since graduating Kevin has completed an internship and PhD in London, a residency in Virginia, USA and was on faculty at the Royal Veterinary College in London for 5 years. Kevin is a diplomate of the American Colleges of Veterinary Internal Medicine and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, and of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine. Kevin is well known for his work to advance the critical care of both adult horses and foals, and is a co-editor of the recent book, The Equine Hospital Manual.

Interests: Critical care, neonatology, pre- and post anaesthesia optimisation, pathophysiology and support of the circulation in critical illness.
