Mr Rob Collins

Rob Collins has 15 years’ experience in the IT industry and a proven track record in commercially focused roles including systems engineering, security infrastructure, project and IT team management.
As Senior Systems Engineer for WatchGuard Technologies in Asia Pacific, Collins is responsible for responsible for enabling partners and customers to fully leverage the potential of their WatchGuard security solutions by providing regional architecture design and solution support services.
Prior to joining WatchGuard Technologies in 2010, Collins worked at Trend Micro as Systems Engineer – Pre-Sales, Enterprise, where he was responsible for closing significant wins within the large enterprise, local government and private education sectors.
He previously spent over two years at Blue Coat Systems as Senior Systems Engineer with responsibility for solution design and architecture as well as partner enablement. During this time, he trained and certified over 60 partner engineers and personally managed customer relationships with clients in the hospitality, education, retail and advertising industries.
Prior, Collins worked for eight years at Merck Group initially based in Melbourne working in customer service, technical support and IT supervisory roles before being promoted to IT Manager. He subsequently moved with Merck to Singapore as Regional Infrastructure Manager where his role also encompassed Regional Information Security Officer for Asia and Oceania.
