Career: Surgical-orientated internship in Dierenkliniek de Bosdreef in Belgium in 2002, followed by first line equine practice in Maidstone, Kent. Residency in gastroenterology and soft tissue surgery under the late Barry Edwards in Leahurst, 2003-2006, certificate in equine soft tissue surgery 2006, ECVS diploma 2008. General surgeon positions in North Yorkshire, Shropshire and Germany before settling in West Wales.

Interests: All aspects of general surgery, in particular soft tissue surgery, surgery of the back, management of wounds and synovial sepsis.
