Mr Justin Lister

As a proven technology risk professional, Justin has over 15 years experience in financial services. He has held a number of senior Audit and Security positions with international investment banks including JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse. Prior to this, Justin served as a consultant with KPMG and Arthur Andersen providing security consultancy to the Australian government, military and ASX 100 companies.

During the mid-Nineties, Justin was also a member of the Centre for Computer Security Research (CCSR), a group recognized for their work in the field of cryptography where they developed one of the fifteen candidate algorithms for the Advanced Encryption Standards (AES). Justin's research at the Centre included Intrusion Detection Systems, where he established the Intrusion Detection Systems Mail forum (ids@uow.edu.au), which brought together over 3000 participants across 60 countries from various academic, commercial and government entities and continues today as Symantec's "Security Focus, Focus-IDS".
