Ms Eileen Yu

Regarded a media veteran in the business technology industry, Eileen has over 16 years of experience at various established IT publications, including ZDNet, Singapore Press Holdings, and Computerworld Singapore. She is currently an independent blogger and content specialist,
providing analysis of key market developments across the Asia-Pacific region. With her extensive media background, Eileen is familiar with a range of technology segments including enterprise security, legal tech, data privacy, and enterprise networking. She has interviewed top executives from leading Asian and global companies including Qian Hu's Kenny Yap, Microsoft's Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, free software advocate Richard Stallman, and former CEO of Sun Microsystems Jonathan Schwartz.

Eileen has moderated high-level panel discussions and roundtables, and has been an invited speaker at digital/online media conferences.
Eileen trained under the Journalism department at The University of Queensland, Australia.

There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Journalism and English, and wrote an honours thesis titled, To Censor or Not: The Great Singapore Dilemma.
