Qualified: Edinburgh. Institution/Practice: Donnington Grove Veterinary Surgery, Oxford Road, Newbury RG20 8AN, UK. Career: Mixed practice in Hertfordshire for one year before joining Endell Veterinary Group in Salisbury for 3 years. Then moved to Gorman Slater and Main in Newbury for 3 years.
Undertook residency in Equine Surgery at Bristol University from 1995 - 1998 and then re-joined Gorman Slater and Main and has been partner since 2001. Interests: Equine surgery, including arthroscopy, fracture repair, colic and airway surgery; imaging including MRI, scintigraphy and radiology; digital technology including practice management, PACS, DICOM. Bruce leads a dull life, going from his office to the operating theatre and back again.
He does not go outside, except in the summertime. He makes a significant charitable donation each year to the local golf club but does not take any chances on wearing the course out. He does manage the occasional ski trip but always likes to have wifi so he can continue to look at MRI scans.
