Profile of Julian Samuelson
I have been Managing Partner of the Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic since 2000. I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the practice with an emphasis on the management of human, financial and physical resources.
In addition, I oversee the governance of the practice as well as developing and implementing the strategic objectives of the business.
I completed an MBA at Cambridge University Judge Business School in 2012
I was a member of the Veterinary Services Organising Committee for the London 2012 Olympic Games (LOCOG) and part of the Field Vet Team at Greenwich Park during the Games.
I am a member of the Board of Trustees at the Horse Trust, and the Hadlow Agricultural College Business Advisory Committee.
AREAS OF MAJOR PROFESSIONAL INTEREST:
Management and business aspects of Equine Practice as well as routine ambulatory equine veterinary care.
I have given presentations on; veterinary careers, the impact of the changing demography within the veterinary profession, and strategies for managing the current and future challenges facing the equine veterinary industry.
