Abid Anwar Mirza

Abid Mirza is a veteran in Telecommunications, Storage and Data Center Technologies. He has a proven track record of business strategy, customer satisfaction, delivery execution and operations. Abid’s career began with the U.S. Army where he was an intelligence officer specializing in electronic telecommunications interceptions and cryptology. After completing his military commitment, Abid worked at EMC as the designated head of the datacenter team residing at Citigroup’s hub datacenter in North America. He worked closely with decision makers at Citigroup to consolidate North American Datacenter Operations. Subsequently Abid directed global efforts in cloud services for New Zealand firm Datacom Group effectively serving as a service delivery executive, and developing and managing executive relationships for such key service provider accounts as Sprint, America Movil, Telenor, Telephonica, and Dell. Most recently, Abid lead storage operations for Standard Chartered Bank. Abid has earned a bachelor’s degree in from The George Washington University’s School of Business majoring in Management Information Systems. He holds numerous industry certifications to include EMC Proven Professional, ITIL, and Lean Six Sigma.
