Thomas Wellinger

Thomas Wellinger is the global Market Manager Data Center at R&M, having been with the company for the past five years. Based in the HQ in Switzerland, Thomas is responsible for R&M’s segment strategy, all data center-related outbound marketing, portfolio management, and strategic partnerships. A regular public speaker and industry advisor on optical networking issues, he contributes to such publications as the Data Center Journal, DataCentre Solutions and NetComms Europe. Thomas holds, besides a postgrad qualification in Business Strategy from the Darden School of Business, a PhD in Physics from Imperial College London.
