Anthony Elvey

Anthony Elvey is the Managing Director, APJ for VCE Technologies. Formed by Cisco and EMC with investments from VMware and Intel, VCE accelerates the adoption of converged infrastructure and cloud-based computing models that dramatically reduce the cost of IT while improving time to market for our customers. Working with global, regional and local clients, consulting partners and service providers, VCE Vblock™ is changing the way infrastructure is bought and delivered, opening all the possibilities for IT as private, hybrid or public cloud. Recognized as a leading thinker in Cloud Solutions, Mr. Elvey brings the experience of dozens of major customer deployments. Before joining VCE from Cisco, Mr. Elvey led the highly successful Cisco World Expo 2010 in Shanghai which was a showcase for Smart + Connected Life in 2020 based on a demonstration of urban Cloud Services, using Vblock™ technology. Hosting more than 10,000 government and business leaders from over 60 countries over 6 months, the result was transformational and has impacted international organizations, national, regional and city governments in their strategy and implementation of the ‘Internet of Things’ based on Cloud Services. With general management, sales and marketing experience Mr. Elvey was the first VCE employee in APJ and has over 33years track record with technology products, services and solutions, automotive, financial and other service industries. He also has experience in e-business consulting, venture capital raising and business development for IT start-up companies. Now based in Singapore, Anthony has lived in 9 countries and has worked in Europe, the US and for the last 25years in all parts of Asia.
