Dr. Charm has gained more than 25 years of management experience from leading multinational and Chinese companies. He was the associate partner of IBM Global Business Services, the regional head of BI Competence Centre for HSBC Asia Pacific, the general manager of Oracle (BI Division) and Hyperion Greater China and the general manager of Kingdee Asia Pacific. He specializes in business intelligence and big data, strategic thinking and management, digital transformation, business models innovation, financial technologies (FinTech), customer experience and loyalty, and internationalization for emerging enterprises. Dr. Charm founded Big Data Elite Asia with aims to leverage on big data and innovative strategies to help enterprises in Asia transform their business models and nurture startups to create innovative applications and technologies. Dr. Charm is the Chairperson and Founder of the Big Data SIG (BISIG) and FinTech SIG for HKCS, Advisor of Entrepreneurship Center - Hong Kong Cyberport, Mentor of the Incubation Center - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, and National Advisor of Big Data Initiative for Malaysia’s Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC). He is also appointed as adjunct professor for The University of Hong Kong (Institute for China Business, SPACE) and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
