David Henzell

As Head of Data Center Solutions for the Asia Pacific region, David is responsible for driving the business through the Energy Management and Building Technologies divisions. With over 30 years of experience in critical infrastructure construction and account management, David has extensive knowledge across numerous industries and has been focussed on the telecommunications and data center industry for the last decade. He is able to leverage his connections in Siemens to make use of valuable domain knowledge in related industries in the data center environment. These related industries include green power generation, transmission industrial project delivery and interface engineering and commissioning. Through his role as a thought leader for customised data center solutions, David helps facilitate innovation on all levels including design, technical, commercial and financial aspects of the data center infrastructure. He works extensively with Siemens global data center experts and is able to introduce expert resources on key projects and feed market requirements into Siemens research and development teams. During his 10 years with Siemens, David has succeeding in allowing customers around the region to add value through improved efficiencies and reduce risks within their businesses. Notable projects include Telstra BMS Initiative, HP Data Center Sydney and NEXTDC’s national network of data centers. With a Regional role, David constantly has his ears to the ground and has a deep understanding of the local markets including regulations and growth opportunities.
