Edwin Ng

Edwin is the General Manager of Business Innovation for VADS Berhad. He is responsible for driving new business innovation programmes, develop new local and regional markets, provide strategic plans to form new business alliance and strategic partnerships. He is also tasked to lead the strategic DC Transformation Program initiatives for Telekom Malaysia Group. Before joining VADS, Edwin was attached to Hewlett-Packard, Strategic IT Advisory Services, HP Technology Services Asia Pacific Japan. Prior to that, he spent four years with a Global Consulting firm and led the IT Strategy and Transformation practice while doing various IT consulting work in the Asia Pacific region. He has with him more than 20 years of industry experience that include running a multi year regional IT Transformation and Outsourcing programme for a Global Phamarceutical client, Data Centres consolidation and rationalisation work in Australia and New Zealand and creating a complex Health Information Exchange infrastructure design for the Ministry of Health in Singapore. He had completed multiple cycles of ITSM/ITIL implementation and various technology implementation across different industries like banking & finance, telecommunication, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, logistics, energy and government public services. He is a frequent contributor on topics like technology innovation, data center and infrastructure transformation, converged infrastructure and service management adoption. Edwin is also a certified ISO/IEC 20000 internal auditor and consultant. He received his education from RMIT University, Melbourne.
