Steven Campbell

As the Vice President for Innovation and Strategy, Steven and his team are responsible for developing unique service offerings with our Global Partners by aligning partner business needs with Riverbed solutions to innovate delivery, ensure consistency of the end-user experience, and offer clients more value. While businesses rely more and more on the application infrastructure to support the business, the landscape is undergoing radical change. The adoption of the cloud and the move to mobile platforms adds greatly to the complexity of delivering consistent performance of the IT environment. Riverbed solutions enable the location independent world of modern IT. While at Mazu, Steven Campbell led the technical business development activities with strategic partners aligning the solutions with new market opportunities in business process management while expanding market access into EMEA. At Inkra, Steven provided leadership for all outbound company activities leading the innovation of a data center services virtualization solution which greatly improved the cost and consistency of delivery by virtualizing services on to a common platform. With 30 years of innovating application infrastructures, prior roles include Nortel Networks, Electronic Data Systems, and the United States Air Force where Steven provided leadership in the support of changing the way end-users interacted with applications while driving out costs and improving access. During his tenure in these roles, Steven spent more than 11 years in Europe supporting various global initiatives. Steven has a history of participating in standards body activities such as the IETF to ensure interoperability while driving innovation.
