Ruediger Dorn

Rüdiger Dorn is part of the Microsoft CTO office and leads the Public Sector cloud strategy for Microsoft in Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this role, he is responsible to drive the cloud business with customers in government, healthcare, national security and education. Critical aspects of his work include the conversation with policy makers on how to establish a policy environment in which customers can securely move to the cloud and to articulate Microsoft’s role as a strategic partner to Public Sector customers. In his role Rüdiger also oversees the recruitment of a partner ecosystem around Microsoft’s cloud products and the feedback of customer requirements back to the the engineering teams. He manages a team of cloud specialists across the region that support customers an partners locally as well as adapt the strategy to local requirements. Prior to joining the Public Sector team, Ruediger served Microsoft worldwide in several international management roles leading the Pharmaceutical and Process Manufacturing industries. Ruediger holds an Engineering and MBA degree. He started his career 20+ years ago at Accenture in their Strategy and Process practice before joining Oracle Corporation Middle East and Africa.
