Derek Lam

Derek Lam joined Oracle Corporation as a Solution Consulting Director. He leads a team of more than 40 experienced solution consultants, focusing on Oracle Middleware solutions in ASEAN and SAGE. In his current role, Derek works closely with major corporations, and assists them in defining and architecting the right Digital Business Platform Infrastructure for their business. He has been an instrumental pillar for the solutioning of complex applications for large organisations across various industries, including Telco, Financial, Public Sector, Utilities. Derek has more than 18 years of experience in IT, out of which, 8 years were spent in IT strategy and consulting. He has a keen understanding of industry business processes and technology innovations such as Cloud, Mobile, Analytics and IoT. Derek holds a Bachelor in Computer Science (Merit) from the University of Singapore.
