Profile of Lauren Jerome
I joined the Unit for Social and Community Psychiatry, a joint venture between Queen Mary, University of London and East London NHS Foundation Trust, as a Research Assistant in April 2020. I primarily work on the TACK programme investigating DIALOG+, an app-based therapeutic tool based on solution-focused therapy principles, for individuals with chronic depression.
Prior to this I graduated from the University of Bath with a BSc in Psychology in 2016, and my previous work in research includes investigating exercise as an intervention for individuals with first episode psychosis, resilience to depression, and experience of coordinating large, national randomised controlled trials in several health areas.
My research interests include the implementation of psychosocial interventions for mental health by utilising accessible resources and technology, and mixed methods research.
