Elena Ene Draghici-Vasilescu

Dr. Elena Ene Drăghici-Vasilescu teaches and researches in the fields of Late Antiquity and Medieval Studies ((Philosophy, Art History). Most recently her work has focused especially on Mediterranean art.
Among her latest books are Byzantine and Medieval Cappadocia (2024), Creation and Time. Byzantine and Modern (2021), Michelangelo, the Byzantines, and Plato (2021); Glimpses into Byzantium. Its Philosophy and Arts (an anthology of peer-reviewed articles published by the author from 2019 to 2021). She has published volumes with Palgrave and Routledge, and articles with Oxford University Press, Byzantinoslavica, Revue des Études Sud-Est Européennes, Studia Patristica, The International Journal of Studies about Levant, Athens Journal of History, etc.
