I am a Postgraduate Researcher at QMUL focusing on the practical challenges posed by the arrival of Polish servicemen in wartime Britain: cultural assimilation, communication, military coherence and, post-war, cultural memory and commemoration. The granddaughter of Sybiracy, I am committed to raising awareness of the Polish perspective through lectures, podcasts and writing articles.
