Rui Wang is a Ph.D. student at University of Manchester. She has research interests in strategic narrative theory and Russian and Chinese media studies. Now she is doing an interdisciplinary project about the dissemination and reception of videos which were originally produced by Russian television channels but later reuploaded on a Chinese video-sharing website.
