Profile of Dr Elena Gómez-Díaz
I am tenured researcher at the Spanish National Scientific Council (IPBLN-CSIC), where I lead the Malaria Epigenomics Lab. I did my PhD at the University of Barcelona (Spain), and two international postdocs: 3 years at the CNRS (France) funded by two MSCA actions, and 3 years at Emory University (USA). In 2015 I returned to Spain as a Ramon y Cajal. As a PI I’ve spent more than a year working in Africa. I am co-founder and co-coordinator of “Women In Malaria” (https://womeninmalaria.es).
