Profile of Olga Khabibulina
PhD candidate at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences finalising her thesis on cultural and language practices of Georgian migrants residing in Poland. In her research she explores cultural practices migrants through the prism of interaction with receiving communities and other migrant groups. Holding two master’s degrees from Lancaster University in Culture, Media and Society (with Distinction) and from the University of Warsaw in Eastern European Studies respectively she combines an interdisciplinary background in migration studies via ethnographic fieldwork and hidden cultural context of East Europe.
