Claudia Lonkin

Claudia Lonkin is a doctoral student in the Department of History at New York University. Her work focuses on Cold War cultural connections between Eastern Europe and Latin America, with a particular interest in music and other popular art forms. She has previously presented research at the Convention of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) and the Conference of the British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES), and the publication of her master's thesis is forthcoming in Europe-Asia Studies.
