Profile of Ellinor Forster
Ellinor Forster, FRHistS, is Associate Professor at the Institute of History and European Ethnology at the University of Innsbruck since 2025. In 2015 she was Visiting Fellow for Humanities at the Silesian University in Opava (Czech Republic), in 2016/2017 Scholar at the Austrian Historical Institute in Rome, and in 2017/18 Senior Lecturer at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. She has published on spatial concepts, sensory history, cultural history of politics and administration, legal and gender history in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
