Dr Sandra Marcia Muxel

Graduated in biomedicine (2004) in Universidade Estadual de Londrina- Paraná - Brazil. I have PhD in Immunology by University of São Paulo.
I'm investigating the regulation of gene expression via transcriptional levels mediated by transcription factors and via post-transcriptional levels, via microRNAs and LncRNAS. Also the role of arginine metabolism during Leishmania-host interaction and activstion of immune response. To explore these facetes of leishmania infection, we utilizes trancriptome, microRNA omics, metabolome and protein level analysis.
