Profile of Svitlana Romaniuk
Associate Professor (PhD with habilitation) at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics at the University of Warsaw. Since 2008, I have been working in the Department of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Warsaw, and I was a lecturer at the Center for East European Studies UW (2007-2018). My research interests include discourse analysis (political and media), sociolinguistics, Ukrainian theoretical grammar and teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. Co-author of 10 textbooks for learning Ukrainian, author of the monograph "Ukrainian Political Discourse in 2010-2014: A Linguistic Analysis," Warsaw 2016, and editor of the monograph "The Experience of War: Media-Discursive Space of Contemporary Ukraine," Warsaw: University of Warsaw Press 2024.
